What is BCI cotton?
The BCI or Better Cotton Initiative is a program that aims to improve cotton production practices in order to make them more sustainable and ethical.
For a maximum life span of your garment and an ecological care:
– Space your washes as much as possible. This will preserve the fiber of the garment and save energy.
– Choose Ecocert or Ecolabel certified detergents.
– Sort your laundry by color.
– Wash your clothes inside out at 30° max in a short cycle (better for the planet, the clothes and your wallet).
– Use a light spin (no need to spin your clothes at 1800 rpm!).
– Avoid the tumble dryer which breaks the fiber, damages the poplin and consumes a lot of energy.
